Workshop

Moytu – Subconscious Nudging & The Science of Change

Friday, September 26, 2025

Hosted by ACE(D) Lab at

Virginia Tech, Virginia, USA

The Moytu Workshop will be held at the ACE(D) Lab, a research group dedicated to advancing engineering education and the engineering learner. Led by Dr. Diana Bairaktarova, the lab explores how real-world engineering applications—and the way we interact with physical and virtual objects—shape individual performance, motivation, and learning outcomes.

Their mission is to bridge engineering, psychology, and learning sciences to better understand how people think, learn, and create. This makes ACE(D) Lab a perfect home for Moytu, a project that also lives at the intersection of human behavior, design, and performance. Together, we explore how subconscious nudges and feedback loops can support healthier choices, sharper minds, and more sustainable futures.

Join me for an inspiring journey into the world of Moytu – an innovative project that combines behavioral science, technology, and the power of subconscious cues to help people build healthier, more sustainable habits.

You will learn:

  • How subconscious nudging works and why it’s a powerful tool for change.

  • Real-life examples of ethical and effective applications.

  • How an idea can grow into a global project.

  • How you can become part of Moytu – as a supporter, collaborator, or tester.

Format: Live at Virginia Tech and streamed online worldwide.
